Membership Committee
The committee is in charge of implementing promotional events to
involve and recruit new members. CDPA kicks off its annual
membership drive with the Annual Membership Gala held in
September of each year. In addition to this, committee members
are contact paralegals and law firms as well as schools offering
paralegal programs to encourage paralegals or paralegal students to
attend CDPA functions and activities.

The committee is responsible for reviewing law firm letterhead to
keep track of paralegals from the many local law firms to
encourage their attendance at meetings and events, and to advise
them of the many benefits of joining a local paralegal association.
Occasional “in-person” presentations conducted by two or more
committee members and/or officers of the association at area
colleges and schools offering paralegal courses are done to discuss
the makeup and workings of the Association and to further
illustrate the benefits of membership in CDPA.
